Boyd O. Wiggam, a Wyoming native, was raised on a farm in Eastern Laramie County and graduated from Burns High School. He earned his undergraduate degree in International Agricultural Economics from the University of Wyoming College of Agriculture; attended graduate school in the Community and Regional Planning program at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln where he was recognized by the Tau Sigma Delta Honor Society in Architecture and Allied Arts for distinction in design; and finally earned his law degree from the College of William & Mary in Virginia. Wiggam's diverse work experience includes previous practice in bankruptcy, immigration, civil litigation and general practice attorney in both Virginia and in Cheyenne. In addition he has served Laramie County and Wyoming residents as a policy analyst for a public policy think tank, and working at various businesses serving farmers and landowners in Laramie County.
Boyd also enjoys spending time with his wife, Iryna, and their children, reading, following University of Wyoming sports teams, and working outside gardening, or doing farm work in Eastern Laramie County. He currently serves as the Immediate Past Chairman of the Bankruptcy & Creditors' Right Section of the Wyoming State Bar, as the Chairman of the Cheyenne/Laramie County Metropolitan Planning Organization's Citizen Advisory Committee, and as Vice Chairman of the City of Cheyenne Planning Commission.
